Always keeping our mission statement in mind, our membership has furthered our education in culinary

November Seedlings Meeting Hostesses
arts, fine arts, needlework, history and the community – as they all relate to gardening.  Seedlings is a group that definitely has fun while learning.

Membership is open to any member in good standing of the Junior League of Akron.  This is not just a sustainer's group!  Our membership is limited to 60 members and we currently have 53 members – so we have room for you.

But wait, there's more!  Consider our requirements: you need to serve on a hostess team only one month ($30 max), pay dues of $30, and are strongly encouraged to enter an arrangement in the annual flower show.  That's it!

We meet the third Monday of the months of September, October, and November; we're dormant in December and January; in February we meet the first Monday of the month and then continue the third Monday for March, April, May and June.  We try to take one field trip (this year we went to Wade & Gatton in Bellville, OH) and the June meeting is our annual flower show.

If you are interested in joining our group, please contact Chairman Cathy Nasca.  We would love to have you come as a guest and check us out – please call!
